650 pages of black-and-white very little Lulu reprints originally from 1945-1948

This Dark Horse volume collects over 650 pages black-and-white very little Lulu comics originally revealed by Dell Comics between 1945 and 1948. "Little Lulu" was a one-panel cartoon within the Saturday Evening Post from 1935 to 1944 from creator Marjorie Henderson Buell. The character was then custom-made by writer/artist John Stanley and artist Irving Tripp for Dell's "Four Color Comics" and eventually an eponymous title. The stories are presented chronologically and center on Lulu Moppet and her neighbor Tubby Tompkins, who is alternately her relief and chief rival. The charming, usually hilarious content is acceptable for all ages. The forged of intelligent and ingenious kids appears like an on the spot predecessor of Charles Schultz's classic "Peanuts" caricature and would in all probability charm to fans of that series.
