This distinctive bilingual nursury rhyme and music book, gives to the Hispanic mother what such a big amount of Mother Goose Rhyme books provide to the yankee mother: an excuse to cuddle together with her kid and share the pricey folklore she grew up with. the actual fact that this can be a set in image book format makes an excellent distinction. I've seen how Latinas spontaneously begin singing the songs by flipping through the pages of the book and instantly feel compelled to share their forgotten folklore with their kids. I've seen 3 generations of a family dispose of a guitar and play the songs within the middle of their kitchen.
